GENERAL INFORMATION

What are bonus dollars?
Bonus Dollars are additional credits added to your playcard, when you purchase a select Load Amount. The bonus dollars will be specified on the artwork. *When looking at your playcard balance, the Bonus Dollars will be noted as BONUS.
What is a Time Pack?
Unlike a “Load” a time play pack, gives you a set amount of time for specified game play. Most locations will have the below time play packs on offer:

  • $20 Time Play Pack
    (40mins Unlimited Red & Yellow Arcade Games + 200 Tickets)
  • $26 Super Time Play Pack
    (70mins Unlimited Red & Yellow Arcade Games, 2x Purple Games and 2x Blue Games + 300 Tickets)
  • $90 Family Time Play Pack
    (4x Super Time Play Packs each consisting of 70mins Unlimited Red & Yellow Arcade Games, 2x Purple Games and 2x Blue Games + 300 Tickets) (For 2x Adults and 2x Children or 1x Adult and 3x Children)

Get your game on – The timer starts when your time play pack is loaded onto your playcard!

How can I become a VIP?
Becoming a VIP is easy! Simply load $50 or more in a single transaction onto an iPlay playcard. Don’t forget to register your playcard to keep up to date with our VIP exclusive offers.

*Please note this is not valid with promotional loads.

When do my tickets/credits expire?
Playcard credits, bonus and tickets will expire after 12 months from the last playcard activity. 
What are your opening hours?
Our store trading hours differ per location, please feel free to give your local venue a call to find out or by selecting them from the locations tab above.
Lost play card?
With all playcards, we strongly recommend you register them via our online store, as this will be the easiest way for our team members to locate your playcard and any remaining balances it may have regardless of the store you are visiting. Please be mindful, we may ask you to provide some ‘Proof of Identification’.

Other suggestions to safeguarding your playcard and any remaining balances it may have include:

  • If you purchase your playcard in-store, please retain a copy of your receipt as your playcard number will be located on it.
  • Take a photo of the back of your playcard and store it safely.

If you haven’t registered the card or are not aware of the playcard number, we unfortunately won’t be able to assist.

What do the different colour swipers mean?

Purple          Instant Major Prize Games  (ie. Claw Machine)
Blue              Feature Game (ie. Walking Dead)
Yellow          Video Games (ie. Air Hockey)
Red               Ticket Games (ie. NBA/Basketball Hoops)

What are the height restrictions for dodgems?

Minimum height of 120cm
Children between 120 and 129cm must be accompanied by an adult
130cm+ can drive

What are the height restrictions for laser tag?

None but it depends on the child’s ability to wear the vest as it can be quite heavy for little ones.

PARTIES INFORMATION

Is a deposit required for a party?
Varying from location and source (In-store or online booking) a deposit will be required for your birthday party, group or event booking. This deposit can be paid in-store or online and will ensure your booking is secured at the venue. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable; however, it can be transferable for the booking date itself.
Is there a minimum number of guests for a birthday party booking?
Our birthday party packs require a minimum of 10 people to make a party booking. If you have under 10 guests, please let one of our friendly team members know so they can assist you with other products.
Is there an age limit for iPlay birthday parties?
Absolutely not! Though some of our venues host special attractions such as Drift Dodgems, Clip ‘n Climb, High Ropes, Laser Tag and Bowling, which have restrictions for the safety of our guests, we have a massive range of games for all ages! Should you be interested in some store specific details, please feel free to contact your local iPlay venue.
Can I bring a birthday cake?
Of course you can! 

Please bear in mind that some of our venues may not have a place to store your cake (Fridge/Freezer). We strongly recommend that you call your local iPlay venue to confirm. 

Some of our locations do have an option to add on a cake.

Can I/we bring my own food?
Self catering is allowed at select venues. Please call your local iPlay venue to confirm your available options.
Do we need to arrive earlier than our booking time?
Certainly! Arriving early is always helpful. It allows our staff to efficiently check you in, finalise your playcards, and provide any necessary information. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early.
Do we need to stay with the party?
Yes, we ask that a parent/legal guardian stay with your guests/party, as iPlay Australia is not liable for any unattended children and any personal property/belongings.
How long is a birthday party?

Our parties are an amazing way to celebrate and have fun! Depending on what pack you chose at your local venue, your party could run between 1.5 to 3.5 hours. We also include some time for food, presents and cake into your party duration.

Does the birthday booking need to be confirmed?
Our venue team members will endeavour to call you 2-3 days out from your birthday party bookings. This way we can double check if there have been any catering changes or if you’ve had an update in your guest numbers.
What do I need to do to book a party urgently?
For any urgently needed parties or bookings, we ask that you please visit your local iPlay venue or call them directly to make the booking, this will ensure you are receiving accurate availability. 
How do I cancel my party?
To cancel your booking, please contact the store where you made the reservation – We may ask you to follow up with an email, so we have this in writing. Our store team will assist you in cancelling the booking or help you reschedule it for another date or time that is more suitable.
What are the height restrictions for dodgems?
